Well, I've had the same error with extfs. Posted about this for a couple
of weeks ago, but got no responses.

At least for me the efsck gave a big bunch of messages, but continued through
the process. After efsck the system ran again nicely for some time,
from a couple a days to a week, then gave the same message again.
I think I haven't seen the message since I upgraded to pl7A, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, reboot, and ??fsck will bring the fs back to life again.

I have also a minix root, but I'm still using extfs for /usr and /usr2.
