The lml/Haskell compiler appears to be in alpha test so you should probably
treat it with caution unless you are a real Haskell enthusiast. It also
lacks the interpreter.
Gofer is a Haskell-like interpreted language and is available from the
address above and from the main Haskell redistribution site at
nebula.cs.yale.edu (directory /pub/haskell/gofer). Gofer has support
for linux and appears to run well. It is close enough to real Haskell
to be used with Davie's text (An Introduction to Functional Programming
Systems Using Haskell, Antony J. T. Davie, Cambridge University Press,
1992) but lacks modules and has a different typing system.
