Hi,
I had the following problem:
Linux fsck told me about dozens of Inodeerrors, which I fixed with
fsck -a everytime - and this was everytime I booted Linux.
I have to say, that my hd was accidentally lowlevel formatted but is fine
with DOS.
THe first time I was able to boot Linux without any errors was after
setting my Processorspeed (468DX/50) down to 20 MHZ and doing a fsck -a.
Now it`s running fine even with 50 MHZ.
I`d like to know what was the reason for behaving my System that `mad` way
and why is it fine now?
Any suggestions?
System config summary :
468DX/50, 207MB Conner AT-Bus HD, Longshire Controller (with I/O)
8mb on board, using dos on a 65mb partition and linux 0.99pl7 in
3 partitions (root=32mb(minix), swap=8mb(minix), rest>100mb(efs, not
installed yet)
