| In the FAQ everyone can read that LILO does *not* boot other systems
| than linux from the second hard disk.

| Is it likely to change soon?

Actually, it will do it with a slight change. I've been booting OS/2
2.1 (December beta) from my second second hard disk for a few weeks now.
To make it work, edit chain.s and remove the check for dos >= 4.0 (It's
right up near the top) & make dos_d.b. Then add OS/2 to your LILO
config file, like so:

 other=/dev/hdb1
  label=os2
  loader=/etc/lilo/dos_d.b

Then reinstall LILO. Far as I know it won't work with dos, but it works
okay (for *me*) with OS/2, without sacrificing a megabyte to Boot Mangler.
