Subject: BUG? Cnews did not batch articles, not even sendbatch

I am using Linux-0.99p7 for two weeks or so, and I batch my articles
by
        su news
        /usr/local/lib/news/bin/batch/sendbatches

Now, in April, this has stopped working. Today I bootet from an old
0.99p6-Image, and voil'a! It works.

If I call "sendbatches -v" it says "/lib/libc.so.4 (Jump table 4.2)" to me,
but the command "cat" is linked with it too and works, so what is going on?

I do not like this, since it seems as if we are having (non-linux-related)
routing-problems as well, and my mail/news is not very relieable...
