Oh, I failed to mention:
running .99pl7 on a 386/33 with a co-processor, 8 meg ram, 10 meg swap,
256k cache.
Is my computer too slow to fill the buffer at high sampling speeds??
(I figured if Windoze could do it at 44khz stereo, Linux would do it
while compiling the kernel)
I cannot see how that would be the case though, as if I am doing somthing
heavy (compiling a few things), it will pause here and there (str), but
then it continues. With the higher settings, it just 'pauses' and doesn't
go on.
Again, I plea for help.
