Subject: single user mode?
Date: Sun, 4 Apr 1993 07:28:29 GMT

Hi...

What would cause the system to put itself into single user
mode? Occasionally, when I come to check my system, it is in such a
state, and doing an init 6 puts it back into multi-user mode

I've check /etc/init's permissions, and they are 750, so
users by themselves can't execute it...is this a known problem? Is
there a known fix? :)

thanks...

marc
