Anybody manage to get more then 80x25 working with a REALTEK VGA?

On boot it says:
        REALTEK VGA Dios Version 5.C05 Copyright Quadtel

I tried the 5rootdisk I downloaded today, none of the 4 modes
displayed on boot would work.

Anyway to change the console screen size after booting?

Any help appreciated.

I don't really expect X to work at all (maybe mono), but thats
after the consoles work.
