Subject: Root partition is XIA, can't boot
Date: Thu, 1 Apr 1993 15:24:08 GMT

Do to a random selection, my root partition is xiafs. Well,
all works fine with my original (HJ distribution) kernel.
My new recompiled kernel does some work, but then tells me
it can not mount my root partition.

I heard a rumor about xia being modified between ...6 and ...7,
is this relevant? If so, what's the workaround - short of backing up
my hard drive.

Speaking of backing up my hardrive. How do I back up a partition onto n
floppies?
