Subject: kmalloc()
Date: Fri, 2 Apr 1993 09:44:55 GMT

I successfully installed Linux (no package, boot/root and the things I
really need as X,...) and a friend made a bootable disk for me.
It worked fine for a couple of days but yesterday after booting
the following message appears:

kmalloc() called with impossibly large argument 65... dropped due lack of
memory.

It's impossible to log in cause the message appears approx. 2 times per
second.
What's wrong ? (Kernel compiled with wrong options ? )
The argument of kmalloc is greater than 64K ?!

Software: Linux 0.99pl5

Thanks for all help !!!
