        I don't know if a fsdb program is really needed. I have never used
it but I believe that it requires a lot of understanding of the fs internal
structures. I'd hate to see people destroy their fs because they made an
error with fsdb.

        BTW, if people think that a fsdb program is needed, I will consider
writing one for the ext 2 fs. To write it, I will need a fsdb reference
because I don't have access to any machine with fsdb. So, I'd appreciate if
somebody could send me a fsdb documentation (or a pointer to get such a
document).

        Note that I don't promise that I write fsdb for ext 2 fs (I have lots
of higher priority things to do) but I may write one if people convince me that
it is really needed.
