I feel like I've joined the linux world now that I have the beta CD-ROM.
Apart from being scared to boot anything up since I don't have a good hard
disk backup at the moment, I will definitely need to get hold of the
mitsumi driver before anything happens. There was a post by Martin

I have uploaded a driver for the Mitsumi cdrom to tsx. The file should be
moved out of the incoming directory in a day or so. (tsx-11.mit.edu)
..
Look for tar file "mcd-0.2.tar.Z". The tarchive contains the driver,
kernel diffs, and installation instructions. The kernel diffs are against
a virgin 0.99pl6 kernel.

Sorry but I can't find where this has been moved to. Anybody know? Also I
assume that I will have to patch the boot CD-ROM so it will read from my
CD-ROM drive, by installing the mitsumi driver on it. Anybody done this
yet?
