I finally got a chance to mess with termftp tonight and
it's amaaaaaaaaazing ! To think that I can get into
term via 'xcomm' and pop to another (or 4 or 5) VC and
rsh anywhere on Internet...and pop to another VC and
ftp direct from Internet to here at home...
absolutely amazing.
incidentally, can anybody say one way or the other
whether a ftp-then-zmodem or a termftp-to_here is
faster ? I'm running a 14.4 modem so I can get
either 1000 cps (9600 baud connect) or up to 1600'ish
if I connect at 19.2kb
