Subject: Trouble with 0.98 + tcp
Date: 30 Sep 1992 14:49:49

I tried to compile Linux 0.98 with the tcp code last night, and
the kernel doesn't boot. I get the following message:

    Memory: 7396k/8192k available (376k kernel, 384k reserved, 36k data)
    stack segment: 0000
    EIP: 0008:00016C36
    EFLAGS: 00010287
    fs: 0017
    base: C0000000, limit: 000A0000
    Pid: 0, process nr: 0
    08 95 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 90
task[0] (swapper) killed: unable to recover
Kernel panic: Trying to free up swapper memory space
In swapper task - not syncing

0.98 runs fine when I don't include the tcp code.

Other info:

        33 Mhz 80486, 8Mb
        Kernel config options:
                No SCSI
                No profiling
                No math emulation
                Compiled with -m486

Does this give anyone any clues as to what's going wrong?
