Subject: Murphy's law got to me :-(
Date: 30 Sep 1992 19:17:37 GMT

Hi,

When I installed 0.98, my EGA port for X386 suddenly started working :-)
(thanks Linus)
Guess what, my humble EGA card does mono X11 :-)
All the clients in /usr/bin/X11 work, except for 1.
And ofcourse... according to Murphy's law, this is the xterm client.
*sob*

When an xterm is started, I do not get an outlined window, for me to
place on screen.
As a matter of fact, nothing visible at all happens.
When I quit X, I do have a process /usr/bin/X11/xterm -e /bin/bash running.
I checked /bin/bash... it's ok, but the xterm process just remains inactive..
No primitives are send to server, as far as I can tell.
What's wrong with my xterm?

If ya can help me out, please drop me a line,
