Subject: NCR video chipset

Greetings Linuxers. A hardware question for anyone can
help: the new Zeos PCs are coming standard with a local bus
VESA video setup based around an NCR chipset. This is
apparently the same video setup used in a recent Compaq
machine that blazed away in some PC magazine benchmarks.

Can anyone tell me if this chipset would be supported by
Linux or, if not, would be tough to write a new video driver
for it? Mucho appreciado,
