I've got a friend here at oxy who has recently come into desperate need
of an 8-bit color X-terminal to hook up to some clients running remotely at
CalTech. Not the most desirable situation, since that's a pretty big
net load, and all the campus workstations are monochrome NeXTs.

To make a long story short, I've got several 486's available here with
ET4000 displays and ethernet. Is it currently possible to put together
a working X server that can work with clients that are running remote over
inet?

I've unfortunately been out of contact with Linux for the most part for a
few weeks, so I appreciate any updating you can give me.
