That article and cover was just a ploy by BYTE to sell more magazines. The
sensational cover did not agree with the article, which was a fountain of
mis-information about unix. The author knows nothing about unix or the
unix community. Hell, he writes that USL stands for "Unix Software Labs" not
Unix Systems Labs (as is the case). The article was just hype for dos people.
Total crap. Utterly.
