Perhaps when there is a new release of a major piece of software, or any
other substantial change a FAQ of someking should be posted every few days
(perhaps twice a week for a month and then bi-weekly or monthly). I just
finished downloading all the files for the lib-4.1 release. Its close
to 6 Meg and the only instructions I've found so far is a 5K FAQ and a
1K README. (Note I haven't exploded the tars yet). As I do the install
I will keep notes on what the instructions said, what I did, and why
any differences, any problems etc.
Later this week, when the install is finished I will post the notes, and
if I get positive feedback, I will post them regularly thereafter until
they are no longer needed.
