Ballogney. 256k is enough for a 640x400 x256 color screen. There is
an entry somewhere in the mode database for such a resolution, which I
used successfully for a couple of months until I got around to ordering
256 more k for $20. Just look through the mode database for an entry
for 640 x 400, and you'll be in busines.
