To my knowledge, there isn't one.

I've seen them for far less, without the bundled drivers. Again,
if you're running something that includes drivers, like Linux,
this isn't a problem.

Wrong. Some Seagate BIOS's reject non-seagate drives. If you're running
something that doesn't use the BIOS (Like Linux), this isn't a problem.
I bought my ST-02 locally for $40, ST-01's can be found for $20.
