Like the title says, Linux - .097 pl 5 breaks on my system,
some where between the call to sd_init() from scsi_dev_init() from
init(), and the first call to check_partition() from setup_dev() from
sys_setup() from init().
Breaks is defined as hangs, interrupts are still there.
This applies to both a generic kernel, and one built with
support removed for CD ROMs, and all SCSI hosts but the
Seagate.
Any body else have this problem?
Now, I would add in some handy dandy debugging code, but until I down
grade the 'C' compiler to 2.2.2d I can't. Out of order upgrades, you
know.
