Here we go, I appreciate all the advice I have recieved about installing
Linux on my machine. Here is my current setup and tonite I will make my
first attempt at installing the sucker.

I have two hard drives in the machine a 20Meg and a 40Meg. I know it's
not much but it's a start. I have them partitioned as such, let me know
if you think there will be a problem(I hope to pick up a new HD in a month
or so..)
C drive 5 megs, this is where I store DOS and a few system files I use a
                lot.
D drive 35 megs, this is where I plan to put Linux, X windows(tight I know)
E drive 20 megs, this is where I plan on reinstalling a minimized windows
and word 2.0, etc. The basics.

I have FTP'd the pub/linux/packages/SLS 15 disk set and also the Xega386.Z.

I have a generic OAK 512K VGA card and a monochrome VGA monitor. Will I
need the Xega... program and have most the bugs been worked out?

Does anyone see a potential problem? Do I need a swap file partition? How
big?

Thanks alot, I should be a tenderfoot here soon, not a newbie....
