Subject: Help getting LILO to boot off 2nd SCSI disk
Date: 18 Sep 1992 18:54:13 GMT

First I would like to thank those responsible for Linux 0.97-pl5 and
GCC 2.2.2d. Everything installs and works better than most commercial
software I've used!

I'm trying to get LILO v5 to boot Linux off of my second SCSI disk.
The disk is partitioned as follows:

        20mb primary - dos /dev/sdb2
        80mb extended
                22mb - root /dev/sdb5
                8mb - swap /dev/sdb6
                50mb - usr /dev/sbd7

I have a working kernel image in /. I tried following the LILO
instuctions to install the loader on a floppy. I entered all of
the parition paramters in disktab as they appear when I boot the
kernel. I installed the loader onto a floppy:

        lilo -b /dev/fd0 -i boot.b -v -v -v /vmunix

No errors. When I reboot, all I get is "LI" and then the system hangs.
I remember something about the "L" being from the primary loader and
the "I" from the second... Can anybody tell me what's wrong here?

Thanx!

-Chris
