that's not what I was looking for.
There are linux-isms that need to be identified and dealt with
(maybe a conf/os/linux file and/or a linux-specific EDITME file)
that I was looking to see if anybody had already solved it.
of course, if you *want* to kick all your config files and
a 'here's how it all plays together under linux' document,
I won't say no :-)
