Hi again.
First off thanks for all those that sent me info on how to set the ST02's
jumpers. It worked!
Now I come to another problem. The boot disk boots now then I get to the
point where I get to login. I choose install because I want to install
this thing on my HD. The installation script seems to be tailor written
for everything except scsi drives. Note I've already partitioned the new
type minix filesystem on my harddrive. When I use mkfs what number of
blocks do I use? This is a single partition of 85 megs (it is an st296)
Whenever it accessed the floppie I keep seeing "floppy under/overflow"
What does that mean? Does it have anything to do with the message
"Unexpected floppy interrupt" upon booting? I've tried a couple of things
and think I copied the files onto the filesystem manually. When making the
boot disk for linux where it tells you to read in the boot sector and
modify offset 0508, what do I put there in area if I want the bootdisk
to boot from scsi disk #2? Has anyone else ever done this and actually
got it to work?
