this is indeed true. the current x386 doesn't support redefinable clocks
(as far as i understand), but just uses the n-th clock as matched on the
Clocks line. this means that your clocks may be "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8" and it
won't make any difference, as long as your video config lines use the
same numbering scheme. so the solution to the original problem is to
use "25 28 ..." etc and then things will match up correctly.
