Hi.
This is a request for those several of you who have
been able to port Jove for the Linux system.
I know that there are 2 ports of Jove available
at the ftp sites over the world, but they all
use gcc 2.2.2, and seem to crash with the
newer release (d). Even with the old shared
libraries, the binary gives a core dump.

Could someone who originally ported the program
modify it again for the newer shared libraries?
Or if you have a working version of jove
for the new library please share your
wealth! :)

I'd do it myself, but am only a beginning
programmer who doesn't know much besides
the commands printf("Hello, world!\n")

:)

Gene

BTW, jove is the best unix editor available
in my opinion. Small, fast, and contains
most of the features available in GNU Emacs.
