I'd be much happier if people using shoelace would try booting from a
floppy (or using lilo) - right now I always suspect a problem with
shoelace when I see these kinds of messages. Shoelace isn't supposed to
be used any more: please get lilo instead.
Shoelace has several problems:
- it doesn't handle holes in the Image file gracefully
- nobody seems to remember if there are any limits to the size shoelace
can load.
- shoelace cannot handle anything else but the minix fs.
So please try booting from a floppy, and resubmit the problem-report if
it still won't work.
