From: combee@prism.gatech.EDU (Ben Combee) Subject: More SEGV's with GCC 2.2.2d in MCC package Date: 6 Sep 1992 14:15:52 GMT
OK... I had previously posted about SEGV (segment violation) errors
when compiling clone Rogue using GCC 2.2.2d included in the MCC
0.97pl2 release. Well, these errors have surfaced in compiling both
UMoria 5.3 and the Linux kernel. They occur with both optimizations
on and off and if I have swap space activated or not. I'm wondering
if anyone else has been having these problems. It is getting a little
annoying. Of course, it may be my hardware... I think my motherboard
isn't quite up to spec.
Thanks for your help. I hope someone replies this time. :)
