I've noticed of late that after my system has been up for a bit and doing
some UUCP transfers, any further attempts to use the modem fail. You can
open the port but the modem will not respond. I believe this may be one
of the reasons my uucico process hangs. Has anyone else had a problem with
the comm port becoming "frozen", require a power down and then a power up?
(just a regular C-A-D will not do the trick)
