I'm having some troubles with man. If I try 'man man', I get
/usr/bin/gtbl: No such file or directory
***nroff: illegal switch Tascii
However, if I do 'man dup', I get
syntax error near `|'
-c:2: ` | /usr/bin/groff -Tascii -mandoc | /usr/bin/less -s)'
I have groff, nroff, less and the man pages in the correct directories
but I don/t have gtbl and I can't find it anywhere. So I thought
"Okay, I'll try using nroff on it's own." So I did 'nroff -man /usr/man/man.1'
and spews loads of '***nroff: undefined macro....' errors all over the place
at me. Arrrrgh. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Cheers.
Piers.
