Speaking of SLS installation questions:
I've recently downloaded the "a" configuration of SLS from
hilbert.math.ksu.edu (dated Oct. 13), and am having difficulties
with the root-disk: the "bin/sysinstall" script (from memory here,
may be off a bit) is no good; it gives syntax errors, and has
runs of NULs in it. Does hilbert just have a bad copy? Is there
another North American site for me to try? Or is this release
of SLS just damaged? (And does Softlanding have an e-mail address?
I couldn't find one in the docs I have.)
