I know I promised everyone a really spiffy Fidopak before Thanksgiving,
but it doesn't look like I'll get there, due to a number of recurring
problems:
(1) My modem is defective and I'm having a hell of a time getting a
replacement. Right now it has trouble connecting when dialing out,
and answering is a dicey proposition at best. Supra's been
promising me a replacement since last week.... :( I should've
bought a ZyXEL.
(2) I'm extremely busy at work (currently implementing a report-writing
language for our Sybase SQL server) and don't have much free time.
If I ever get a working modem, I'll get back on the Fidopak...but right
now, since it isn't much use for me, I have to put it on the back burner.
