My friend has the same problem. The thing is it's detecting his Adaptec
card as a serial device.

ttys0 at IRQ 4 is a 16450 0x358
ttys1 at IRQ 3 is a 16550 0x258
ttys12 at IRQ 11 is an 8250 0x330 <---- Thats the Adaptec 1542B

The mouse doesn't work very well at all anymore. This is under 0.98.3 with
tcp/ip and no fpu emulation (it's a 486). It's a logitech serial mouse on
ttys0. Are there any fixes available yet?
