I did a little mucking around and found that it is in fact bash1 which
seems to be screwing up on me. I try zsh instead (in /usr/bin) and it
seems to eliminate my "File or directory not found" error for the moment.

I think I should have elaborated on my other request regarding "8-bit MFM"
controllers. I meant 8-bit MFM hard disk controllers. I'm using a Western
Digital WD1002A-WX1 to talk to a second pair of drives for a total of 4
hard drives (I'm driving the primary pair with an MFM hard/floppy controller
with no problems to speak of).
