From: cblaine@hal.gnu.ai.mit.edu (Charles Jefferson Blaine) Subject: SLS 0.98 installed completely, getting missing files (maybe wrong dir) Date: Wed, 28 Oct 1992 21:49:37 GMT
Ok, I posted this once before...but no one really responded and it seems like
a VERY simple error to fix, but I am clueless as usual.
Upon trying to compile rzsz (patched from tsx-11), I got the following spew:
<keep in mind, I compiled it fine before with 0.96>
# make linux!
make linux
make linux_ CC=gcc LDFLAGS2="-s -o" OFLAG="-O6" CFLAGS="-static -DLINK"
gcc -static -DLINK -O6 -DMD=2 rz.c -s -o rz
In file included from /usr/include/signal.h:6, from rz.c:67:
/usr/include/sys/types.h:1: linux/types.h: No such file or directory
In file included from.......
And it goes ON and ON for a good full screen and then stops as:
make[2]: ***[linux_] Error 1
make[2]: ***[linux] Error 1
make: *** [linux!] Error 1
#
Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong with the way I have this stuff
set up? I mean, I think it would be something very obvious to someone who
knew something about linux and the proper directories for files. That person
is not me however =)
Please help! Kermit is SLOWWWWW at 2400 baud!
