It also crashes on my computer at home but runs perfectly here
in the university.
The crashes at home happen always when the system tries
to access hard disk and floppy disk at the same time
(one of both caused by a sync). It happened when doing
cp from floppy to hard disk, mkfs -c running from floppy on hd
and dd from hard disk to floppy.
I have a western digital compatible MFM controller and
two seagate disks.
Is there a known problem with MFM disks?
