First my thanks to Thomas Dunbar for the TeX package.

I agree with him (and some others) that the binaries for such a big
package shouldn't go to /usr/bin during installation. So my suggestion is
to make softlinks from the binaries in /usr/TeX/... to /usr/bin. The
softlinks will stay even if you install a newer version of the TeX
package and you don't have to add stuff to your PATH variable.
