err, you're the one with the brain damage. The deleted lines recommended
that the perl or sh script be run at the gateway machine, which is
presumably running UNIX and carrying a standard newsfeed to be gatewayed
to Fidonet. It would be the matter of moments to munge the contents
of five directories into one.
