Absolutely. It's very easy with DR Dos 6.0. I don't use
lilo, but I use bootlin. Here's a subset out of my config.sys:
timeout 2
echo
echo 1. dos 2. default linux 3. linux 4. abort ?
switch continue, current, linux, abort
exit
; ==================================================================
: continue
REM dos stuff goes here
; ==================================================================
:current
echo
echo booting current linux kernel
echo
shell=c:\boot\bootlin.com c:\linux\images\current.img
return
This will boot DOS if I don't hit a keyto boot linux within 2 seconds,
because of the TIMEOUT statement. Maybe it should default to linux
now... (Smile) Anyways, bootlin should be available on sunsite and
probably tsx also.
