From: cougar@acm.rpi.edu (Erik Collin) Subject: What did SLS do to my X? Date: 25 Oct 1992 19:38:03 GMT
A couple weeks ago I installed the SLS package and all worked well. When
the Perms.fix came out I used it but the fixes seem to have locked my
mouse. X started fine and the outline of the clock window came up but
there was no response to the mouse. I nuked the file system and
reinstalled SLS. Everything worked fine until the fixes.... grrr.
Now I have the latest SLS and it looks like the fixes are run for me thus
I have a nicely locked X. I save my .twmrc and Xconfig files and copy
them to the new system and until now they've worked fine.
Any ideas on what's wrong here?
(microsoft mouse, /dev/ttys1 worked fine until now)
Thanks.
