First, an apology to Tero Larkonnen, I have to admit I was a bit rude to
him.
Second, please, to all the people who suggest we get a new/better newsreader
understand that it is just NOT an option for most of us. We use what we have
and that's that. The same arguement could be inserted for people who complain
about their newsreaders showing them cross-posted messages twice, but that
would be silly.
Frankly, if we can eliminate rampant cross-posting, their shouldn't be that
much change, people who feel the need to read all 200+ messages that get
posted each day, could still do that, just read comp.os.linux.* what's
the big deal?
It would be so much easier if people could focus on subjects that mattered
to them, and ignore the rest. Anyways, I've said my piece.
Later,
