The subject says it all! How can I ghet linux to boot directly off
the hard disk? I figure the Image file in the root directory has
some relevance but I don't want to touch it until I know what I'm
doing 8-0

I understand Shoestring (or shoelace or something) helps. What is
it; where can I get it?

My questions are annoying but one day I'll be an expert and I'll
have to answer all the dumb questions!

Thanks...
