Just a short note to say that last night was the maiden voyage of
Linux on my hard disk. I used the SLS 0.98 release to install
everything quickly and without problems. I am very impressed.

A big thank you to Linus and all the other developers and to the
people at SLS who put together the release.

My next step is to get the man pages, install LILO to boot of the hard
disc and get X working. Then maybe I'll be in a position to contribute
something back.
