Subject: 0.98pl2 and throttle tty probs.

Golly this upgrade stuff is fun. On bootup of 0.98pl2, I get
"throttle tty1: 1 (xxx, 15)...." where xxx = [990..1100] (approx).
I looked through the sources and couldn't figure out anything
(no surprises there :) except that I could comment out the printk()'s
and ignore everything. A couple of questions, thought:
        1) What's the problem?
        2) Is this a big problem?
        3) Exactly what does the term "throttle" refer to?
        4) What's a good book/author/publisher that explains internals
of operating systems (other than /usr/src/linux)?

 many thanks,
dan
