        I'm having >> MAJOR << problems with 0.98.2. I have the 'base' disks
installed and get a trap when loging in. Also when using rm. I had to make a
new ps and after when I did a make clean the rm failed half way through. I
did another and it finished the job. Replacing login with an older version
seems to work, but you can't tell what binaries will fail until they do.

        Also older, untouched (read non-jumptable) binaries are failing as
well. My kermit (APR '92) won't read in the /.kermrc file, though it works
fine under 0.98.0. As such I'm not going to play Russian Roulette with MY
system.

                                        Sorry for the bad news;
