You seem to have forgotten some very important costs. Hard-disk space
costs many times the value of a floppy disk and more importantly is
a limited high demand resource, thus having a very high intangible value.
Next comes the cost of transfering those extra 60K across the network
10, 20 perhaps a hundred times...
