Subject: Installing GPROF

        I've got mcc-interim linux v0.96c and want to install gprof.
I got binsrc.TZ and compiled gprof. But on compiling a test program
(gcc -pg) various librarys are missing. I managed to locate gcrt0.a,
lib.so.4.a (?) from lib-src-4.1.TZ . ld still complains about libc_p.a .
What libraries do i need?
        Please dont suggest i install SLS linux!!!
NOTE: most of these files i got under the 'GCC' directory on
monu1.cc.monash.edu.au.
        Is there any work around?
