Hmmm, this should be over with the new Xfree stuff eh? ALMOST. What I am
finding with my ET4000 board is that the clock timings reported by Xfree
are not 100% consistant. This means that I may need to take several attempts
to get X started in the right clock mode(?) or it will just give me an error
saying that there is no definition for that dot clock speed.
Usually it is ok but once and a while it will be really subborn and refuse to
report the right speeds. I get it eventually after 'startx' several times.
I have tried to use my old X1.1 Clocks line in the Xconfig....seems to be
ignored. Do I need to pad it out to 16 values? Are zeros appropriate?
Thanks in advance (again).....
